My own Precious
Bunny. I miss you
so much tonight - I would
give anything to
put my arms
tightly about you
and kiss you and
kiss you. I love you
so, my own Dearest,
and you are not
one instant out of
my mind. One week
more - Sweetheart.
[2]
3 P.M. Saturday
Everything is over - two
speeches, lunches and
receptions and I am
resting before dinner,
by having a moments
talk with my Darling.
Everything was beautiful-
ly done and the day
went well. I have
spoken three times
since I arrived in
Detroit yesterday morn-
ing! This evening I
go to Ann Arbor to
[3]
spend Sunday with President and
Mrs. Augnell [??], and tomorrow I will
write a longer letter to my
own Dearest. I think of you
every instant and love you so,
my Darling - God bless and
keep you.
Give my love to Helen and
my greetings to all!
I must stop, Sweetheart, but
[4]
will begin a little later,
My Heart ful [sic.] of love for
my girlie, from her own May
